Providing food assistance to villages in need
Gambia International Food Trust
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the challenge of poverty. GIFT: GAMBIA INTERNATIONAL FOOD TRUST provides food resources to villages most in need. The Smiling Coast Foundations donated 100 bags of rice to villages most affected by the quarantine as a result of COVID19 through funds raised by through our partnership with the New Freedom Project and Culture Centers International out of the US. Donate today to our Food Drive so that we can give even more for our next food distribution. Let’s make sure every Gambian eats!

Supporting Education for all Gambians
The Smiling Coast Foundation is a non-profit organization formed with the intention of extending and furthering access to educational resources to all citizens of The Gambia. Financial differences should not impede any Gambian’s educational needs. The Smiling Coast Foundation maintains the firm stance that no Gambian should be compelled to leave school or be dismissed from school simply because their parents cannot afford school fees and/or other necessities.

With this initiative, our goal is to promote education to increase professional skills through training and mentorship as an alternative to sex tourism which lead to human trafficking and harm against Gambians. At The Smiling Coast Foundation, we believe that with access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. Smiling Coast Foundation supports the dreams of young athletes in The Gambia by offering Soccer in the Gambia which provides leadership and athletic training, tournaments and opportunities for exchange and exposure.
